1st Grade - November 2022

This month in First grade, we have found out that we have a lot to be thankful for each and every day.

In our Social Studies unit, we have been reading about many brave men and women who have served God in very difficult times and how they encourage us to see God in even the hard times. We have also been learning about wants and needs, different jobs that people in our community do to serve us, how to earn money and how to use it wisely.

In Math, we just finished up our subtraction unit, and even though we are learning to take away, we have added more to our math skills.

In English the first graders are seeing how detail can make a good story great and just how wonderful, cool, amazing, and sweet adjectives are.

Happy Thanksgiving from your sweet, caring, smart, and rocking first graders.
