From the Principal's Desk - October 2021

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

The mission of Trinity Lutheran School in partnership with parents and the congregation is to provide a Christ-centered educational program that ministers to the needs of the whole child in nurturing them to grow in service to God and man.

In response to the Gospel message of forgiveness and eternal salvation found in Jesus Christ, Trinity Lutheran School exists to nurture students by integrating faith into a carefully planned curriculum. A curriculum that addresses the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and physical needs of the students. With a shared focus on academic excellence and Christian values, we are daily nurturing the leaders of the next generation.

Crusader PRIDE is instilled in each child as we focus on showing Patience- Responsibility- Integrity- Determination- Encouragement.

Patience is witnessed at recess as 6th graders allow 1st graders to join them in a game of 4-square. Responsibility is witnessed in a 3rd grade student leading their Kindergarten chapel buddy in worship. Integrity is witnessed in classrooms as students are choosing to act responsibly when no one is watching. Determination is witnessed in a child that diligently works for understanding when the work is challenging. Encouragement is found in the positive words of a classmate as they serve as peer teachers, and in the words of praise from a teammate as they share in the team’s success.

We find encouragement in prayer as we pray for one another in our classrooms. As witnesses of the saving grace of Jesus, how are we as adults showing these same characteristics in our daily lives? Let’s challenge ourselves to grow these characteristics just as we challenge our children, and students to do the same.

Thank you for your prayers and support of our Trinity Lutheran School ministry.
