“Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Our theme verse for this school year provides us with much needed comfort in a world that has changed drastically in the last 6 months.
1 Corinthians 15:57 is a daily reminder of the victory we have through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. In a world that has changed, the love of God our father is constant.
Our Trinity Lutheran School family is thrilled to be back in action with the many sounds of learning and growing echoing through the hallways.
We praise God for our dedicated, creative, hard-working teachers:
Kris Seeman: Preschool
Starla Smith: Preschool Aid
Libby Van Dyke: Kindergarten
Cathy Sprengeler: 1st & 2nd grade
Alison Yox: 3rd grade
4th-8th grade team: Angela Angeles, Mona Satre, Rick Gustafson, Amy Schroeder
Our 2020-2021 school year is off to a fantastic start. We especially thank our school parents for entrusting their children to our care. Things may not look and feel the same as they did last year at this time but socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually our children are growing. Extra sanitizing, hand washing breaks, temperature checks, face coverings, and social distancing cannot take away the daily mission of our school. In partnership with parents and the congregation we continue to provide each child with a Christ-centered education focusing on the whole child’s development. This partnership is key to the success of our mission.
We thank all who have donated funds for tuition assistance through ILSTO, special donations, or through the adopt a student program. Know that your donations are making a daily difference in the lives of God’s children and families. Thank you for your generosity. Special thanks to Mr. Hasstedt for the extra sanitizing of the school and church building, and to our Trinity members for your understanding and acceptance of new protocols in place in the building.
As we continue to navigate the next 7 months, we ask you to continue to keep the families, teachers and students of TLS in your prayers. We are Victorious through Christ, and that Victory is ours together.
May we continue to work together as the Trinity Lutheran School family to provide the children in our care with a safe learning environment where they can excel and grow.
