National Lutheran Schools Week

National Lutheran Schools Week provides the network of over 1,900 LCMS preschools, elementary schools, and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work in Lutheran schools.

In this, Lutheran schools thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the children they serve and for the opportunity to share Jesus’ amazing love with students and their families.

National Lutheran Schools Week gives schools the ability to proclaim these great blessings within the communities they serve. Lutheran schools are amazing incubators for faithful witness of God’s love through Christ by teachers and students alike.

We have exciting activities planned throughout the week to celebrate our school!

SUNDAY - January 22

- Worship Services at 8:00 & 10:30 AM (K-8 Choirs sing at both services)

- Open House (including art show) 9:00 - 10:15 AM

- Choir Concert at 1:00 PM (required for all K-8 students)

- Family Feud game following choir concert

 

MONDAY - January 23

- Goose Chase 8:30 - 9:10 AM with other Lutheran Schools

TUESDAY - January 24

- Special guest artist/songwriter Chad Elliott at 12:30 PM

WEDNESDAY - January 25

- Invite a lunch buddy or two or three (please RSVP to secretary@tlsboone.us or 515-432-6912 so we know how many)

        11:15 - kindergartners

         11:25 - 1st grade

         11:35 - 2nd grade

         11:45 - 3rd/4th grade

         11:50 ish -  5th-8th as their classes are dismissed

- Chapel led by Pastor Dean Schroeder at 12:30 PM

- Bingo and art project following chapel

FRIDAY - January 27

- IDW Basketball Tournament in Ft. Dodge

- All school movie in the afternoon
