As April gives way to May, the excitement of spring is all around us at Trinity Lutheran School.

April was a month full of learning, creativity, and new challenges for our 7th and 8th graders!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! Alleluia!  April has been full of fresh air, learning adventures, and joyful celebration in 5th and 6th grade!

Spring has officially sprung in our 4th-grade classroom! As we embrace the month of April, we are excited to share all the wonderful learning and growth happening in our class.

Spring has arrived, and our 3rd-grade classroom is soaking in the sunshine and beauty all around us!

This month, our hearts and minds were focused on the incredible love of Jesus during Passion Week.

We began April by learning about the true meaning of Easter. We talked about how Easter is a special time for celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and how His story teaches us about love, forgiveness, and hope.

Kindergarteners spent much of April learning about and celebrating the passion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus.

April showers brought wonderful learning opportunities as preschoolers explored changes in the weather, our neighborhood, and nature.

“Real growth comes in our daily walk with Jesus. It doesn’t happen physically, or mentally, or socially, or even financially. It happens as we celebrate the gift of eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Real growth is living a life, daily sustained by the Holy Spirit, which gives us the assurance of eternal life.”

What’s most meaningful is how we’re connecting all of our learning back to our faith. Whether we’re admiring God’s creation in science or talking about honesty in writing, we’re learning to view the world through God’s eyes and live with gratitude and purpose. It’s been a busy month, but we’re excited about all we’re learning—and how we’re growing in both knowledge and faith!

March has been a busy and exciting month in fifth and sixth grade! We kicked things off with Read Across America Week, celebrating the joy of reading with fun dress-up days and dedicated Drop Everything and Read time. Students enjoyed diving into books while showing off their creativity through themed outfits.

Spring has arrived in our 4th grade classroom, and with it comes a renewed sense of energy and excitement! The sunshine and warmer days have brought a noticeable boost in enthusiasm, and we are thrilled to share some of the wonderful things we’ve been learning and exploring across our subjects.

We’ve had an exciting and busy few weeks in second grade! Our class is full of joy, kindness, and love. It’s truly a blessing to see how well everyone gets along and supports each other.

What another amazing month! With the beautiful weather, 1st grade took a nature walk to explore our neighborhood and observe the signs of spring all around us. The sunshine, fresh air, and changing environment gave us the perfect opportunity to connect what we’re learning in the classroom with the world outside.

March is such an exciting, hopeful month! In our Lent devotion, we have been reviewing Jesus’ life and looking forward to His great work for us. Spring has officially arrived, and we’ve had warm weather!

TLS preschoolers have been busy learning and playing this past March. It was so nice to meet with all of the preschool families to share how much each child has grown—not only academically and socially, but in Faith! We have a room full of compassionate, service-oriented little people. I am constantly amazed at how they share the love of Christ with each other and the adults around them. What a blessing they are!
