Mark 16:15 Jesus said: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
This month we took learning on the road and were able to visit Mission Central near Mapleton where Mark 16 comes to life. As Pastor Schultz showed us around Mission Central we were reminded of 4 things. 1. We are all missionaries 2. God created each of us very special 3.Because Jesuse walked out of His grave, someday we shall walk out of ours 4.There are 2 kinds of people in this world, those who trust in God and those who trust in something else. We were amazed at all the items that have been collected from so many nations around the world. God has indeed given us the responsibility to teach the Gospel message to all nations. Praise God for the work of so many missionaries in bringing the message of salvation that is found in Jesus around the world.
As we celebrated Thanksgiving, we were reminded of the importance of serving one another with love and gratitude. In recognizing the many blessings we have, we are called to share those blessings by giving our time and efforts to help others. This month, a highlight for our class was helping to package boxes for Orphan Grain Train at the warehouse in Ida Grove. It was such a meaningful opportunity to be the hands of Jesus, serving those in need and showing His love through our actions.
*Orphan Grain Train is a Christian volunteer network that ships donated food, clothing, medical and other needed items to people in 71 different countries including the USA.
