This month has been packed with new lessons and fun challenges across all subjects! Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to...
In math, we’ve been working on graphing linear equations and plotting points on a coordinate plane. We’ve also started geometry, focusing on triangles, angles, and polygons—measuring, calculating areas, and classifying shapes.
In science, we’re exploring plants and fungi—how they grow, their parts, and how they interact with their environment. It’s amazing to see how everything in nature is connected and how it all points back to God’s incredible creation.
Art class has been a highlight! We’re working on landscape batiks using crayon and paint to show perspective. We’re also drawing our rooms using one-point perspective—a fun way to stretch our creativity.
In language arts, we’ve been reviewing verb tenses, practicing how to use perfect and progressive forms correctly in writing. It’s helping us grow in confidence as writers and communicators.
What’s most meaningful is how we’re connecting all of our learning back to our faith. Whether we’re admiring God’s creation in science or talking about honesty in writing, we’re learning to view the world through God’s eyes and live with gratitude and purpose. It’s been a busy month, but we’re excited about all we’re learning—and how we’re growing in both knowledge and faith!
