December is a season filled with excitement, anticipation, and celebration—but above all, it is a season of Good News and Great Joy. In Luke 2:10–11, the angel proclaims,
“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
These words remind us that the joy of Christmas is not found in busy schedules or festive traditions, but in the gift of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Throughout this month at Trinity Lutheran School, we have seen that Good News come to life. Our students have shared the message of Christ’s birth through song, Scripture, service, and acts of kindness. From our Christmas service to classroom devotions and service projects, students have joyfully pointed others to the reason we celebrate—Jesus, born for us.
This Good News is more than a story from long ago; it is a promise that continues to bring joy today. Jesus came into our world to bring forgiveness, hope, and peace—joy that lasts beyond the Christmas season. As we return to our routines and step into the months ahead, we are reminded that this message is meant to be lived and shared every day. It has been a blessing to see our students grow in their understanding of this truth and reflect it through love, service, and faith in action.
As we move forward into the new year, may the Good News of Christ’s birth continue to shape our hearts and guide our days. May the joy proclaimed by the angels remain with us, reminding us that our Savior lives and walks with us always. We are thankful for our Trinity families and pray God’s continued blessings on your homes as we journey together in faith.
