From the Principal's Desk - November 2022

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

In this season of thanksgiving, we reflect on all the blessings the Lord has given us. I am thankful for the families and friends who partner with us at Trinity Lutheran School to raise and educate the next generation of Christ-following servant leaders. I am thankful for the many volunteers who enhance the educational experiences of our students and for 150 years of congregational support through giving and prayer. We have so much to be thankful for!

Not only do we see the Lord’s faithfulness from past to present, but we also look ahead to the season of Advent with great expectation - the baby in a manager, the long-awaited Messiah, the Savior of the world. To Him, we give thanks, for He is very good!

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Giving His Son Jesus for our salvation is how God demonstrates His love for us. Eternal life is a gift, forgiveness is a gift. Freely given without compensation. Giving is how God shows His love for us and giving is how we are able to bless others. Giving time. Giving patience. Giving support. Giving grace. Giving appreciation. Giving forgiveness. Giving wisdom. Giving kindness. Giving comfort. Giving encouragement. Giving insight…. We love (give) because He first loved (gave to) us. 1 John 4:19.

We ask you to keep the families, teachers, and students of TLS in your prayers throughout the school year.
