From the Principal's Desk - October 2026
At Trinity Lutheran Church and School, we are committed to providing a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment where every student can learn and grow. An important part of that commitment is continually reviewing our practices and expectations to support the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 22:37–39 to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbors as ourselves. This teaching guides how we care for one another at Trinity. Bullying, harassment, and behavior that harms others have no place in our school community. Our expectations address physical, verbal, social, and online behaviors that threaten a student's safety, well-being, or ability to learn.
As a Lutheran school, we recognize that sin affects us all, but we also rejoice in the forgiveness and grace we receive through Jesus Christ. Our approach emphasizes accountability, forgiveness, and restoration, recognizing that forgiveness does not eliminate the need for appropriate consequences. We strive to help students take responsibility for their actions, seek forgiveness, and work toward reconciliation while maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Open communication between home and school is an important part of caring for our students. By listening to concerns, addressing challenges thoughtfully, and working together, we can strengthen the relationships and sense of belonging that make our Trinity community special.
Creating a safe and welcoming school is a shared responsibility. Thank you for your continued partnership in encouraging kindness, respect, and open communication at home. Together, rooted in Christ and guided by His Word, we continue working to make Trinity a place where every child is valued, supported, and cared for.
