In these days leading up to Easter, we are drawn into the most important story ever told—the story of Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection. It is here that we see most clearly the depth of God’s love for us.
Throughout Holy Week, we walk with Jesus from the cheers of Palm Sunday, to the humility of the upper room, to the sorrow of the cross. These moments remind us that our sin is real, but even more real is the love of our Savior. As Scripture reminds,
“He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities… and by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5)
Jesus did not turn away—He willingly went to the cross, taking our place and bearing the punishment we deserved.
For our students, this is more than a story—it is the foundation of everything we teach and believe. In classrooms and chapel, they are hearing again that Jesus gave His life for them personally. His love is not distant or general—it is specific, certain, and complete.
And then comes Easter.
The tomb is empty. Christ is risen. Sin is defeated. Death is overcome. Because of Jesus, we have forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternity with Him. This is the joy that follows the sorrow of the cross—the victory that changes everything.
As a school family, we rejoice in this Good News. May the message of Holy Week and Easter fill our hearts with peace, strengthen our faith, and remind us daily that we are loved beyond measure by our risen Savior.
