Preschool - April 2026

April showers allowed preschoolers to learn about the changes in weather, our neighborhood, and in nature. We have been amazed by watching flowers grow, worms wiggle and our ladybug larvae double in size. God is AMAZING! 

Spring changes are such a natural way to use our math skills for graphing our changing weather days, bugs we find, and length of worms. Our number skills have really improved and we are learning about simple addition and subtraction.

We have continued our journey to master letter identification (upper and lowercase) through games, books, songs and letter writing. The joy we share when we read stories and send letters to others is a daily blessing. We are delighted to share get well cards, thank you cards, I love you cards and our prayers!!

The weather has been all over the charts this spring and we have worn shorts at the start of some weeks and shivered in our parkas the next! We have enjoyed flying paper airplanes and launching foam rockets when the wind is calm. Playing catch, climbing, and racing as the weather warms. Preschoolers even picked up litter as we learned how God wants us to take care of the earth just as we take care of each other. 

We had special guest readers in April: Mayor Casotti, Mrs. Westrum, Mr. Z and Ms. Bob! We also had many family volunteers who made our Easter parties fun. We are blessed with endless energy & joy to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection!

“Be strong and courageous” has been a favorite Bible verse and gospel song by Jennie Williamson the preschoolers have embraced this Easter season. We were blessed to join Jennie in singing God’s word when she came to visit Trinity! Preschoolers have also learned that not only did Jesus commission the apostles in Matthew 28:16-20 to go forth and share the life and love of Jesus but we are called to do the same. Jesus wants us all to know He is with us always (Acts 1:1-11) and to share that good news!
