Happy Summer, One & All!
The school year has flown by quickly, and we have had many great learning opportunities together in May. We took home our seedlings and released our ladybugs. We discovered that ladybugs eat aphids and help keep plants healthy. God has made so many amazing helpers!
Speaking of helpers, our students have grown into kind and caring young people seeking ways to help others and serve like Jesus! We invited our parents (and a few grandparents) to Parents & Pastries, where we served those who care for us as a sign of our love for them. We were proud and thankful for the opportunity to gather together with family!
In May, we were also amazed to learn how Jesus changed Saul’s heart, and he became Paul, a strong disciple. It has been amazing to watch the littles fill with awe and joy as they learned and shared about God’s word this year!
We spent time graphing how much we have grown, the skills we now possess, and the new interests we share with friends and family.
In May, we also had our preschool field day and storytime with Mr. Z. The weather kept us on our toes and reminded us to be flexible in all we do. What fun we had together!
On our final days, we enjoyed looking back at journal entries and photos of the year as we prepared for summer. The children continued to write notes to friends, letting them know they are a blessing. They demonstrated how to show love and compassion for one another through words and actions. They truly know how to share God’s love!
We celebrated the end of the school year, presented awards to all students, held a graduation for students moving on to kindergarten, and served treats to all. We were excited to sing some favorite songs and to celebrate how God has helped us grow this school year! Have a blessed summer, and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!
Prayers from Preschool!
