Preschool - September 2026

Happy Fall, One & All! It has been a blessing to begin another school year together in preschool. We have been learning about our friends at school and discovering how God has made each of us unique. As we get to know one another, we are building our classroom family and practicing our two important life and classroom rules: We keep each other safe and We share God’s love.

We have spent time learning about our bodies and five senses, noticing the many wonderful ways God created us to experience the world around us. In math, we have been graphing by attributes and learning how to compare quantities, weights, and lengths. Hands-on activities help us learn about one another while also building important early math and science skills.

We are also working hard to learn each other’s names and first letters. The children have been practicing writing names and simple words, using their writing to show care, kindness, and encouragement to their friends. It is wonderful to see them growing in confidence as they learn that their words and actions can share God’s love with others.

In Religion, we have learned about Creation, Noah and the flood, and have just begun learning about Gideon. We are reminded that God is always with us and helps us each day. As we say together, “The LORD is my helper!” With God, all things are possible this year!
