The Christmas story began long, long ago. Before the angel, Gabriel told Mary she would have God’s Son. Before the shepherds saw the angels and before the wise men saw the star. Even before the sun and moon shone for the first time before the first cows ever mooed and the first monkeys ever climbed! Before Adam and Eve took their first walk in the Garden of Eden, God had a plan for Christmas. From the beginning of God’s plan was Jesus.
Remember that God loves us so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to the world so we could spend forever with Him. Nothing is impossible for God. His miracles are everywhere. God always keeps His promises. He loves us more than we could know. God’s glorious gift of Christmas is for us!
A heartfelt thank you to our room mothers, Sheralyn Page, Emily Kohnke, and Taylor Larson for all their work in preparing a wonderfully fun party for all our class. We appreciate it all!
We are very blessed to welcome our new 1st Grader Wyatt Scott. He is a sweet boy who loves to play Gaga Ball and makes new friends easily.
Music is such a powerful way to communicate. Our K-4 Choir was blessed with the opportunity to share God’s wonderful plan of salvation through Jesus Christ in a number of ways this past month. We gave a 30-minute Christ-centered concert on Saturday, December 4th at the Festival of Hope. The entire school shared with family and friends their faith during the all-school Christmas worship service entitled “A Reason to Celebrate” held on Friday, December 17th. Our class spent an amazing morning right before Christmas break going out into the community sharing the message of Jesus Christ our Savior through Christmas caroling. We were warmly greeted everywhere we went and it was evident that the Gospel message touched the hearts of people hearing our message.
The pure joy of Jesus coming out of the voices of our students is such a blessed gift in praise to our Blessed Lord and Savior.
