3rd & 4th Grade - February 2023

This month, our entire school is focusing on the character trait of kindness. There are a lot of kind children in 3rd and 4th grade, it will be difficult to choose just one to honor at the end of the month. It was the same for January. We focused on respect. Though there are a handful of very respectful children in our class, Clark was recognized as student of the month for his upstanding and respectful behavior.

Students have been excited to write and receive letters from their Trinity Alumni pen pals. We share the letters with the entire class, and everyone enjoys hearing the letters from former Trinity students.

We are competing in HyVee Kids Fit Squat Challenge. We are completing as many squats as we can together as a class. After the first two days, our legs are wobbly, but joy is high!

Academically we are continuing to learn valuable lessons about verbs, fractions, estimating sums and differences, and the history of communities in the United States.
