What a joy it is to learn about Jesus through our lessons and class discussions. We see God’s glory in our multiplication tables that show us that God is a God of order. He is glorified in our reading when we see God is a God of truth and of creativity. We see God as a God of beauty in our Art lessons, and He is a God of goodness and strength as we appreciate the abilities He has given us to participate in PE. How wonderful it is to see and teach the joy of the Lord in all we do!
Our classroom is participating in a nationwide letter exchange program with other Lutheran schools across the country. We have exchanged letters with schools in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Arizona…and we’ve only just begun.
We all enjoyed our Spring Break. What a great chance to rest, relax, travel, rejuvenate and get ready for the race to the finish line! Some students traveled across the US from North Dakota to Florida. Others stayed close to home. We are thankful for the opportunity to take a break.
Students had their biography book reports on display at the Ericson Public library. Their bottle dolls and lapbooks were made available to be enjoyed by everyone in Boone to see in the children’s section at the library.
The character trait of the month for February was Kindness. We celebrated Calvin Westrum who earned student of the month for kindness. This month we are focusing on Diligence.
