As we wrap up our final month of school, our third-grade hearts are filled with joy and gratitude. May has been a special time to reflect on a year of growth, learning, and God’s many blessings.
This month brought two exciting field trips. At the Science Center of Iowa, students explored hands-on exhibits and STEM activities that sparked curiosity and wonder. During Ag Day at Boone High School, hosted by the FFA, we learned about farm animals, tractors, and the hard work of farming—connecting us to God’s creation in meaningful ways.
In the classroom, we completed several units. In Math, students explored geometry through polygons, angles, and symmetry. In Language Arts, we focused on writing mechanics to strengthen sentence structure and clarity. Social Studies highlighted foundational documents like the Magna Carta and the U.S. Constitution, while our Science unit on landforms helped us appreciate the beauty and variety of God’s design.
As we close the year, we thank the Lord for His faithfulness. It has been a joy to walk alongside these students and witness their growth. We’re grateful for the support of our Trinity family.
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." – Psalm 107:1
