3rd Grade - November 2024

As we reflect on the month of November, we are grateful for the many experiences and opportunities that have enriched our 3rd grade class here at Trinity.

This month, we held our parent-teacher conferences, which allowed us to share the progress and achievements of our students with their families. It was wonderful to connect with parents and discuss how we can work together to support their children’s learning and growth.

We also enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Civic Center to see "Collision of Rhythm." This performance captivated us with its dynamic music and dance, and it was a fantastic way to appreciate the arts as a class.

In November, we celebrated two special birthdays: Ivan and Kaleb! Both students brought joy to our classroom with their celebrations, and we are thankful for the unique gifts they bring to our class community.

Additionally, we had a wonderful time meeting with our Kindergarten buddies. Together, we created “Thankful Turkeys” as part of an art project to show our gratitude for all the things for which the Lord has blessed us. This activity allowed us to express our gratitude creatively and strengthen our friendships.

In our academic subjects, we’ve been busy learning! In math, we are diving into division, mastering the basics and applying our skills to solve problems. In social studies, we are honing our map skills, learning how to read and interpret different types of maps. In science, we are exploring clouds, weather, and climate, discovering how these elements affect our environment. Lastly, in English, we are focusing on nouns, identifying and using them in our writing.

As we move forward into December, we are excited for the upcoming holiday season and the opportunities it brings to continue learning and growing together in faith.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our class!
