The final month of school was filled with hands-on learning, exciting milestones, and unforgettable experiences in the 7th and 8th grade classroom!
In science, students explored animal anatomy through frog and perch dissections—an engaging, hands-on way to bring our biology studies to life.
In math, we focused on linear equations and coordinate grid mapping, while pre-algebra students tackled solving for variables, surface area, and volume.
In language arts, we wrapped up the novel Code Talker and reviewed grammar skills, including commas, semicolons, colons, and quotation marks.
In religion, we celebrated a major milestone as several students were confirmed. It was a joy to witness their growth in faith and commitment to following Christ.
Social studies brought a strong finish to the year, with 8th graders studying American history and 7th graders exploring the medieval and Renaissance periods.
Outside the classroom, students participated in the annual track meet, showing teamwork and great sportsmanship. The 8th graders also enjoyed their much-anticipated class trip to South Dakota, visiting Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, Custer Park, and more—creating memories to last a lifetime.
Another special highlight was the choir tour, where students sang for nursing homes in Boone, Ogden, Dallas Center, and Waukee—a beautiful way to reflect God’s love through music.
It’s been a fantastic year of growth, discovery, and faith. We’re proud of our students and excited to see what God has in store for them next!
