What a wonderful way to wrap up the school year! May has been a month full of joy, celebration, and meaningful moments in 5th and 6th grade. One of the biggest highlights was our spring musical, The Wizard of Oz. After weeks of hard work and rehearsals, the students took the stage and delivered an incredible performance. I’m so proud of the dedication, teamwork, and talent they displayed—it was a magical evening!
It was also a joy to watch the students participate in our annual track meet. Coming together with other area Lutheran schools to celebrate the athletic gifts God has given us was such a blessing. I saw so much encouragement and sportsmanship—a great reflection of how God calls us to treat one another.
Another special event was our class pen pal party. Throughout the year, students exchanged letters with their pen pals and built meaningful connections through writing. It was great to see them meet in person, put faces to names, and spend time celebrating their new friendships.
We closed out the school year with a variety of fun activities that brought plenty of smiles and laughter. From games to classroom celebrations to the always-anticipated talent show, it was a joyful way to end our time together.
As we head into summer, thank you for your continued support. It has been a blessing to teach your children and watch them grow in so many ways. I pray your family enjoys a restful, joy-filled summer break. May God continue to bless you in all the adventures ahead!
