From the Principal's Desk - October 2024

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” Matthew 28:19–20

The Holy Spirit continues to work daily within the hearts and minds of our Trinity family. We are truly blessed with a community of servant-hearted individuals—whether they are volunteers, teachers, students, or members of the congregation. We thank God for providing Trinity Lutheran School (TLS) with the people and opportunities to fulfill the call to make disciples.

We rejoice with the parents who have said “yes” to providing their child with a Christian education. “Yes” to placing their child in an environment where they experience the fullness of joy in Jesus, as they are challenged to grow academically.

We celebrate the teachers at Trinity who say “yes” each day to finding new and creative ways to engage every learner. “Yes” to teaching in a school community that prioritizes the growth of the whole child. “Yes” to dedicating their time and talents to equipping students for a future of service to God and others.

We also rejoice in the students at Trinity who say “yes” to reflecting Christ through their words and actions. “Yes” to accepting academic challenges as they pursue excellence in both knowledge and character.

We are thankful for the volunteers, bus drivers, secretaries, classroom aides, and custodians who generously give their time and talents to ensure our school’s success, saying “yes” to the countless behind-the-scenes tasks that support the entire Trinity family.

We give thanks for a congregation that says “yes” to providing a Lutheran day school for the families of Boone. “Yes” to supporting a ministry that reaches children and families with the good news of salvation through our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. In a world that so often says “no” to serving God, Trinity Lutheran Church continues to boldly say “yes.”

As Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

We give thanks for our TLS family and ask for your continued prayers throughout our school year. May each child, teacher, and family experience the loving presence of our Almighty God!
