From the Principal's Desk - September 2022

“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:5

In 1872 the members of Trinity Lutheran Church had a vision. A vision to provide the children in their care with the opportunity to attend a day school that would wrap their child’s academic studies in the Word of God.

Trinity Lutheran School’s purpose in 1872, “We know that God has given us definite instructions concerning the basic character of Christian education. To learn what this character is, we turn to the Bible, which we accept as God’s message to us and by which we accordingly let ourselves be guided. We affirm that the real purpose of our school is to enable the learner to grow in Christian maturity, capable of serving God in every life relationship in accordance with God’s will and Word, in fellowship with Christ, and under the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christian education is the ministry of Christ’s members to Christ’s members for Christ’s sake and in His holy name.” Steadfast. Faithful. Committed. Dedicated. And celebrated.

For 150 years, Trinity Lutheran School has provided thousands of learners with an educational program guided by God’s word and dedicated to Christ-centered academic excellence. 10 years, 25 years, 50 years, 100 years, and now, our purpose remains the same.

The purpose of Trinity Lutheran School in 2022 is to provide a Christ-centered educational program ministering to the needs of the whole child in developing children in service to God and man. With sincere gratitude, we acknowledge the blessings of God and the support and cooperation of our parents and our congregation in providing our children with a Christian education.

This Christ-centered education is the ministry OF Christ’s members TO Christ’s members FOR Christ’s sake and IN His holy name.

I ask you to pray for our school year that each child, teacher, and family be blessed with the loving presence of our Almighty God today and every day of the 2022-2023 school year!
