From the Principal's Desk - September 2023

1 Corinthians 12:27 says that we, as believers in Jesus, are like a body. Each one of us is a different part of that body, and when we are connected in Christ, amazing things happen!

So, what does it mean to be connected in Christ?

  • We are a team: Just like a volleyball team needs all its players to work together to score, we, as Christians, are a team. Each of us has something special to contribute to God’s work in the world.

  • We help each other: Imagine one of your hands is hurt, and the other hand steps in to take care of it. That’s what we do when we help and support one another. When we’re connected in Christ, we can encourage, pray for, and care for each other.

  • We share the good news: Just like you might tell people how awesome your favorite game is, we can use our voices to share the good news about Jesus. Being connected in Christ means telling others about Him and His love.

  • We find our purpose: Just like each part of your body has a special job, God has a special purpose for each of us. When we’re connected in Christ, we discover our purpose and use our talents for God’s glory.

  • We’re never alone: Even when you feel lonely, remember that you’re never truly alone because you’re connected to Jesus and to a whole family of believers. That’s an amazing feeling!

So, as students, teachers, and families of Trinity Lutheran Church and School, let’s remember that we’re connected in Christ. We’re a team, helping each other, sharing God’s love, finding our purpose, and never feeling alone. When we stay connected in Christ, amazing things happen!
