Families, fire safety, Bible stories, and pumpkins galore!
Oh, so much for preschoolers to explore!
Colors. Shapes. Numbers and Letters.
Books, Fingerplays, and Songs. The more the better!
Patterns, snacks, and recess games
So many ways we have learned each other’s names!
Our classroom has come to life as we have developed friendships and shared excitement in learning together. We learned about different families and how we are loved by them — just as God loves us!
We learned about fire safety and how firefighters help not only with fires but also in times of rescue — they are great community helpers! We were blessed to have had visits by the Boone Fire Department, too!!
In October, we walked to Ericson Public Library to learn about the prairie, pollinators, and story time. We gave thanks for our many volunteer walkers, the beautiful weather, and the absence of trains!
We transformed our classroom into a pumpkin patch to learn about weight, height, and circumference. We enjoyed taking orders, delivering goods, and working together to let God’s light shine! Have you read The Pumpkin Patch Parable? It helped us relate how God has made all things (people/pumpkins of all colors, shapes, and sizes) and His light can shine through us!
We focused our Bible readings on Moses! We learned how God had a plan for baby Moses, just like He has a plan for each of us! We continued our study of Moses and how God prepared him to be a leader. We were amazed how God spoke to Moses from a burning bush and how Moses had to “listen up.” God sent Moses helpers throughout his life, just as He sends us helpers and prepares us to share His love and word, too! We continued our study of Moses and the Hebrew people as they fled through the Red Sea by God’s mighty wind and survived in the desert for 40 years! God even sent rules (10 Commandments) and food for everyone. We give thanks for the rules and food God provides to keep us safe and growing healthy in His word!
We give thanks to the Lord for all our blessings: Faith, Family, Friends, Food, and Homes. We are loved and bursting to share that love with others!
“We love because God first loved us!” John 4:19
