Fourth graders at Trinity Lutheran School kicked off the year by dusting off their third-grade superpowers and zooming into exciting new territories of knowledge! With brains buzzing and hearts engaged, they are already making great strides in both academics and faith. Mrs. Pezzetti is on a mission to create a dynamic, nurturing classroom where imagination, critical thinking, and teamwork can thrive each day.
In reading, the students have been diving into the pages of The Wild Robot by Peter Brown, embarking on a literary adventure filled with discovery, problem-solving, and plenty of opportunities for thoughtful discussion. Their memory work continues to keep God’s Word close to their hearts, while spelling lessons are challenging them to stretch their vocabulary and writing skills. In science, they’ve begun exploring the amazing process of photosynthesis, learning how God designed plants to grow and sustain life.
Beyond the academics, the fourth graders are also practicing important skills like listening, encouraging one another, and working together as a team. They are discovering that learning is not just about what you know, but also about how you use your gifts to help and support those around you. Already, their joy and curiosity are making a positive impact on the entire classroom environment. With such a strong start, this year promises to be full of growth, adventure, and blessings!
