Hello, Fabulous Friends of Trinity Lutheran Church and School!
Wow, February goes by so quickly, and we are growing and learning so much! What a blessing to have warmer temperatures so we can go outside and play! Here’s a little rhyming note about how we’ve spent our days:
Brisk in the morning,
Windy at night,
Our cheerful faces
Are red and bright.
Our crazy hat hair
Makes us quite a sight!
But no matter the weather,
We enjoy spending our days together!
Learning of Jesus’s miracles,
We carried a “paralyzed” friend with all our might.
Seeing the man lowered from a roof
Must’ve been quite a sight!
Jairus’s daughter had died, and all had begun to weep,
But Jesus said, “Have faith, she’s but asleep!”
5,000 had come to listen to Jesus speak,
The disciples sought dinner for all they could see.
Five loaves, two fishes, Jesus did bless,
Overflowing baskets—another miracle, nothing less.
Using manners and kind words
Helps us share, not fight.
Our words are a gift from above,
We’re learning to use them to lift each other up
And share Jesus’ love!
Balancing Humpty Dumpty on high walls,
We measured and charted each new sight.
Letters and numbers—
We’re learning to write.
Oh, nursery rhymes we sing day and night—
So now we are rhyming—do you share our delight?
As we close our poem,
It is only right
To share our Lenten prayer:
May you be filled with Jesus’ peace and light!
Prayers from Preschool!
